| Abstract: | การจัดการงานวิจัยเป็นปัจจัยพื้นฐานสำคัญต่อการลงทุนด้านการวิจัย วัตถุประสงค์หลักของการจัดการงานวิจัยคือ เพื่อผลักดันให้เกิดงานวิจัยที่สามารถใช้ประโยชน์ได้จริง บทความนี้นำเสนอมุมมองต่อการจัดการงานวิจัยในระบบสุขภาพจากประสบการณ์ตรงของผู้เขียน ร่วมกับการทบทวนแนวคิดการจัดการงานวิจัยและการจัดการความรู้และได้ถ่ายทอดในเชิงวิเคราะห์ใน 3 ประเด็นคือ แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการจัดการงานวิจัย กระบวนการจัดการงานวิจัย และบทบาทผู้จัดการงานวิจัย การจัดการงานวิจัยทีมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการสร้างนักวิจัยที่มีคุณภาพ การกำหนดประเด็นวิจัยที่ดี ตลอดจนทำให้เกิดการทำวิจัยและการนำผลการวิจัยไปใช้ประโยชน์ หัวใจสำคัญของการจัดการงานวิจัยที่ดีอยู่ที่ความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงให้เกิดความสัมพันธ์สอดคล้องและเชื่อมต่อกันทุกภาคส่วนในระบบวิจัย โดยกระบวนการในการจัดการงานวิจัย ได้แก่ การกำหนดประเด็นวิจัย การพิจารณาโครงการเพื่อสนับสนุนการวิจัย การกำกับติดตามการดำเนินโครงการวิจัย และการประเมินผลโครงการวิจัย โดยผู้มีบทบาทสำคัญในกระบวนการดังกล่าวคือ ผู้จัดการงานวิจัยซึ่งต้องมีความสามารถทั้งด้านวิชาการและการจัดการ เพื่อจัดการให้งานวิจัยมีคุณภาพ มีทิศทางที่เหมาะสม และผลงานวิจัยที่เกิดขึ้นถูกนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ |
| Other Abstract: | Research management is a key supporting factor for systems research investment. The main objective of research management is essential linkage between researchers and research users. This article describes points of view in health systems research management from the authors’ direct experience in reviewing and analyzing three issues: the research management concept, the research management process and the role of the research manager. Good research management helps in building qualified researchers, formulating interesting research questions, and obtaining acceptable research results leading to suitable utilization. The key success factor of research management depends on the linkage capacity of all partnerships within the research system. The principal roles of health research management may be summed up in four major functions: (1) facilitating formulation of the research scope by identifying problems and setting priorities; (2) facilitating research involvement among researchers and stakeholders in the health system for selecting research proposals; (3) facilitating research monitoring; and (4) facilitating research assessment for knowledge utilization. Certainly, the key person in this process is the research manager. For this reason, research managers should be strengthened both in terms of academic capacity and in management skills for qualified research administration. |
