dc.description.abstractการศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคของเครือข่ายการรักษาผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคเนื้องอกสมองและไขสันหลังในประเทศไทยเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการเครือข่ายผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคเนื้องอกในสมองและไขสันหลังในประเทศไทย คณะผู้จัดทำต้องการค้นหาปัญหาและอุปสรรคในระบบการดูแลผู้ป่วยกลุ่มนี้ เนื่องจากกระบวนการวินิจฉัยและรักษาค่อนข้างซับซ้อน ต้องใช้ทีมแพทย์หลากหลายสาขา การศึกษาพบปัญหาความขาดแคลนของแพทย์สาขาต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้อง รวมทั้งเครื่องมือที่สำคัญในการวินิจฉัยและรักษา ปัญหาระบบการส่งต่อและปัญหาระบบการเบิกจ่ายของการวินิจฉัยและการรักษา ผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคเนื้องอกสมองและไขสันหลังจึงได้รับการวินิจฉัยและรักษาที่ล่าช้ากว่าที่ควรจะเป็น มีผลทำให้เพิ่มอัตราความพิการและอัตราการเสียชีวิตจากโรค ในการศึกษานี้คณะผู้จัดทำโครงการฯได้จัดทำข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อแก้ปัญหาเชิงระบบ ซึ่งจะเป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานของประเทศไทยในการนำไปพัฒนาระบบการดูแลผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคเนื้องอกสมองและไขสันหลังในอนาคตต่อไปen_US

dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purpose of the study was to explore the problems in the caring system of the pediatric CNS tumor in Thailand. CNS tumors in children need sophisticated diagnosis and treatment, which include large multidisciplinary care teams. At present, there are many problems in the caring system in Thailand, including the inadequate number of physicians involved in many aspects of the diseases, equipments for diagnosis and treatment, and inappropriate referral and payment system, all of which can result in the delayed diagnosis and treatment leading to an increased rate of morbidity and mortality. Suggestions derived from the study were made to solve the problems systematically and serve as the basic data for the improvement of the CNS tumor care in Thailand.en_US
