| dc.description.abstract | การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการกำลังคนด้านสุขภาพเพื่อรองรับผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิงของประเทศไทย วิธีการศึกษาประกอบด้วย 2 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ การเก็บข้อมูลปฐมภูมิและทุติยภูมิและการคาดการณ์ความต้องการกำลังคน การเก็บข้อมูลปฐมภูมิใช้การสำรวจในกลุ่มสถานบริการสุขภาพทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน 66 แห่ง และผู้จัดการบริการ (care manager: CM) ในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่บ้าน 130 คน แบบสอบถามประกอบด้วย ข้อมูลการบริการ กำลังคนด้านสุขภาพ ลักษณะงานที่ปฏิบัติ เวลาที่ใช้ในการปฏิบัติกิจกรรมต่างๆ สำหรับการคาดการณ์ความต้องการกำลังคนในการดูแลที่บ้านใช้วิธีความจำเป็นด้านสุขภาพ (health need method) ส่วนการคาดการณ์กำลังคนดูแลระยะยาวที่สถาบันนั้น ใช้วิธีการกำหนดอัตราส่วนประชากร (population ratio) โดยกำลังคนด้านสุขภาพที่คาดการณ์ประกอบด้วยกำลังคนที่เป็นวิชาชีพ ได้แก่ CM พยาบาลวิชาชีพ แพทย์ นักกายภาพบำบัด นักสังคมสงเคราะห์ และกำลังคนที่ไม่ใช่วิชาชีพ ได้แก่ นักบริบาลและผู้ช่วยพยาบาล ผลการศึกษา พบว่า หากผู้ใช้บริการในสถานบริการฯ เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 10-20 ต่อปี ใน พ.ศ. 2573 จะมีความต้องการ CM ประมาณ 37,235-37,636 คน รองลงมาได้แก่ พยาบาลวิชาชีพ 29,520-30,499 คน นักกายภาพบำบัด 4,858-5,260 คน แพทย์ 3,555-4,000 คน นักสังคมสงเคราะห์ 338-740 คน สำหรับผู้ช่วยพยาบาลและนักบริบาล พบว่าใน พ.ศ. 2573 มีความต้องการกำลังคนเหล่านี้ประมาณ 1,613-3,529 คน และ 126,542-134,312 คน ตามลำดับ เมื่อเทียบกับกำลังคนรองรับในภาพรวมทั้งประเทศ กำลังคนที่จะขาดแคลนมากได้แก่ พยาบาลวิชาชีพและ CM | th_TH |

| dc.description.abstractalternative | The study aimed to project the health workforce requirements to provide long term care for the dependent older people in Thailand. The descriptive study comprised 2 steps, primary and secondary data collection and forecasting for health workforce requirements for the long term care services. Survey conducted at 66 public and private long term care institutions and 130 care managers (CMs) looking after home health care services. Self-administered questionnaires comprised questions in relation to service provision, health workforce, quantity of services and time used were applied. The health need method was used to project the health workforce requirements for home health care services and the population ratio method was then employed to project the health workforce requirements for institutional care. Health workforces included in the projection were: CM, nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, social workers, nurse assistants and care givers (CGs). The results showed that when service utilization at institutional care increased at 10-20% each year, the requirements for CM, nurses, physiotherapists, doctors, social workers, nurse assistants and CG in 2030 would be 37,235-37,636; 29,520-30,499; 4,858- 5,260; 3,555-4,000; 338-740; 1,613-3,529; and 126,542 -134,312 respectively. Comparing to health workforce supply of the whole country, it is likely that there would be a critical shortage of nurse and CM. | th_TH |
