Survey of Risk Behavior, Risk Situation, Health lnformation, HealthInformation Perception : first issue Practice for HealthThe aims of this survey are both to describe risk behavior, way of life in risk environment, and finding way to minimize the risk and also to describe information exposure. Eighty thousand and eighty eight people living all over the Kingdom are both interviewed and asked to answer an eight part questionnaire concerning their conduct to keep them healthy. QPS is used to analyse the data. Frequency, percent, mean and standard deviation are used to present this data. Findings :1.Of all the risk behaviors, these population do not commit all of them except using safety belts and helmets while on a motorcycle. In order to keep them healthy, they think that regular exercise is the answer, abused sex is the cause of AIDS, smoking is not good for one's health and is the cause of lung cancer. Drinking is another cause of accident. In oder to minimize risk situation, drinking while driving must be prohibited. There should also be a nonsmoking area in schools, education institutes, government offices. Children under 18 should be prohibited from buying cigarettes. Another comment is, roads should be built up to the standard. 2.They also exercise by playing sport or jogging around 25.4 minutes per day. Most of them exercise continuously before going to work.They believe that it is not only good for one's health but also will reduce the stress. Their problems are lack of time and facility. The gevernment should support the idea of more availability of facility. 3.They receive information through all channels, mostly through T.V., radio and press. Most of information received concerning driving, danger from environment, accident, drinking, smoking and AIDS. Media should make known information about health through T.V., radio, press and local radio.4.Information needed is news concerning health both physical and mental, how to handle stress. Both government and private sectors should play important role in informing people about this whether through meeting, seminar or lecture.
