Factors related to data quality of outpatient services, health promotion and disease prevention (21 standard folders) of Tambol Health Promoting Hospital Officers in Chon Buri.

Abstract
This study is a descriptive study (descriptive research) where qualitative data is collected (qualitative method). The objectives are to study processes, factors and obstacles related to the data quality of services provided for outpatients, health promotion and disease prevention (21 standard folders) of Tambol Health Promoting Hospital personnel in Chon Buri. Data were collected using in-depth interviews from of 20 participants who served on the preparation of health information of Tambol Health Promoting Hospital in 10 districts. By selecting 2 personnel who prepared 21 standard folders reports with the highest and lowest data quality in each district then the data were analyzed (content analysis). The study found that: 1) the preparation of the information; the group with high scores, recorded data in real time, recorded the required personal information, backed up data daily, checked for accuracy and completeness of the reports and gave feedback if error(s) found. If the responsible personnel were unavailable, other personnel could interchangeably export the reports within specified time. Those with low scores, some did not record data daily and recorded by temporary employee and could not take advantage of the data. 2) Factors related to data quality including; the personnel have a positive attitude towards the preparation of the information, understand the structure of the folders, received training, responsible and circumspect, a number of staff and workload were reasonable. Budgeting and up-to-date equipment were adequate. Management executives are key factors to monitor and encourage to record accurate data and check the completeness of the data. 3) The obstacles including; some data recording personnel lack of knowledge because they have not been trained, no personnel to interchangeably export data, computer break down and unable to connect to the internet.
