Analysis of the Quality and Efficiency of the Nursing Service System in the Outpatient Department, Srisungwan Hospital

Abstract
This retrospective descriptive study was conducted to analyze the quality and the efficiency of the Nursing Service System in the outpatient department in fiscal year 2007, using a questionnaire comprising 10 key indicators for evaluation, as contained in the fifth section of the standards for nursing services; the results were presented as percentages. The study showed that the nursing practice fulfilled the criteria for eight of the indicators, failed one, and could not be evaluated for the other.
