Abstract
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) It is accepted and proven effective for young people. who are addicted to drugs in recovery This research has an exploratory phase. This is a cross-sectional, predictive correlational design to study depression and negative automatic thoughts. Factors involved in youth addicted to type 1 drugs in Chonburi Central Prison, totaling 450 people. and trial period It is quasi-experimental research. (Quasi-experimental research) 2 groups, measured before and immediately after the experiment was completed. and a 2-week follow-up period (Two groups pretest-posttest and follow-up design) to study the effectiveness of the manual therapy program by adjusting thoughts and behavior by yourself against automatic thoughts. and depression of youth addicted to type 1 drugs in Chonburi Central Prison, a total of 100 people, divided into an experimental group and a control group of 50 people each, totaling 100 people. The experimental group received a 3-week program using a manual for self-adjusting thought and behavior therapy, 3 times a week, every other day. The data collection tool was the Adolescent Depression Questionnaire. Negative Automatic Thoughts Questionnaire which obtained reliability values of .87 and .96, respectively. Data were collected before and after the experiment was completed and a follow-up period after 2 weeks of the experiment. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and repeated-measures analysis of variance. The results of the research can be summarized as follows: 1. Factors influencing depression of youth addicted to Type 1 drugs in Chonburi Central Prison. The results of the study found that negative automatic thoughts Self-esteem (β=-.163, p<.001), cognitive attachment (β=.103, p<.01), and positivity (β=-.104, p<. 01) Can jointly predict the variance in depression of youth addicted to Type 1 drugs in Chonburi Central Prison at a statistically significant 58.60 percent (R2=.586, p< .001). 2. Factors that affect automatic thoughts negatively and attachment to ideas There is a positive relationship with depression among youth addicted to Type 1 drugs in Chonburi Central Prison. As for self-esteem Positivity. There is a negative relationship with depression among youth addicted to Type 1 drugs in Chonburi Central Prison. Statistically significant at the .001 level. 3. The factor that has the greatest effect on depression among youth addicted to Type 1 drugs in Chonburi Central Prison is negative automatic thoughts, followed by self-esteem. clinginess of thought and looking at the world positively Together, they were able to predict the variance in depression among youth addicted to Type 1 drugs in Chonburi Central Prison at a statistical significance at the .001 level. 4. The mean scores of negative automatic thoughts in experimental group were lower than control group at post-test and 2 week follow-up were significantly different at .001 and 5. The mean scores of depression in experimental group were lower than control group at post-test and 2 week follow-up were significantly different at .05 The results of this research It has been suggested that nurses, psychologists and prison guards This cognitive and behavioral self-adjustment program can be used to treat youth who use substances to reduce negative automatic thoughts and reduce depression. And the form of a treatment manual that can be studied on your own is another option that is beneficial to the rehabilitation of drug addicts who do not have access to electronic systems.
